Call Your Credit Card Company: If you have a credit card that currently has a balance on it, call your credit card company to try and get the interest rate lowered. Depending on how good of a customer you are, this can be easy or difficult to do. Always ask to speak to a manager (since they have more power to grant your wish) and you can follow this information to help you. If you can get your credit card interest rate lowered, you will save hundreds to thousands depending on your credit card balance and the time period it takes you to pay them off.

I can personally vouch for this one as I have had insane offers of rate reductions when I call to cancel cards. Your mileage may vary…

I know that most men are guilty of losing arguments with their better half due to the fact that we don’t remember past arguments. I know I am guilty of this. When I make an accusation of something or another I usually cannot recall and instance to back up my claims. Where my better half can do this almost instantaneously.

Finally I found a guy that can’t lose this battle due to his list of things he and his girlfriend have argued about.

Last night we ventured out to the new Super Target or Target Grande or whatever they call it.

Same Target. Newer store.

Our purpose was to replace our fire-hazard halogen light in the living room with a safer incandescent one. We found one in our budget and took it home.

I put it together only to find that I had a growing suspicion that I was not the first to assemble this lamp. My suspicions were answered when I tried to tighten the pole to the base and could get it snug at best.

That’s right the pole threads were stripped. Thanks Target. Tonight we try again.

Since I returned from Las Vegas, I have had to manually sync my blackberry to receive any new email. I was hoping this would clear up on its own but it hasn’t.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to sync automatically again?
